Dear Colleagues,

We have for you all an EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT! NCEMNA was awarded a 1-year supplement to our existing NIGMS "Stimulating Nursing Research" grant. The funds are part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The funds will be used to advance two very important aspects of our grant: facilitating publications of our mentees and conducting an in-depth evaluation to determine the impact of our efforts to date. Both of these activities are critical to ensure the continued success of our efforts to increase and strengthen the cadres of minority nurse researchers.

We have heard from many of you over these past years in regards to how much NCEMNA has meant to you personally and how it has helped you advance your career. Your success is tied in with NCEMNA's success. Your feedback, your publications, your grants, your advancement are all evidence we need to demonstrate the impact of NCEMNA.
