    Ms. Navarro is Past President (2012-2014) of the Philippine Nurses Association of America(PNAA). She is co-Chair of Philippine Humanitarian Coalition, re-building Philippine communities affected by major disasters; Commission on Filipinos Overseas’ US Honorary Representative, Office of the President of the Philippines promoting and upholding the interest of Filipino emigrants.

    Ms. Navarro is Director of Clinical Quality at Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHI) responsible for oversight of clinical quality improvement for partner international organizations and of international patients at the Johns Hopkins Health System. Ms. Navarro has a faculty appointment with The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.

    Ms. Navarro earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing at St. Paul University, Manila, master’s of administrative science at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Carey Business School, and master’s of science in nursing at the JHU School of Nursing.

    She has held various positions in professional/civic/community organizations and editorial staff of peer reviewed journals.

    Ms. Navarro was the recipient of the Banaag Award, 2014Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas
